A project report groups the project's studies by analyte, each with its result. It gives no overall verdict: review each study's own outcome.

Opening the project report#

Open the project, choose the Reports tab, then Open project report. The tab appears once the project has a study. Saved project reports are also listed on the Reports page in the menu.

Current and saved versions#

The Project report selector offers Current report, built now from every study, and each saved version, Project report N · date, which stays as saved.

Choose Save project report to save a version. If the PDF can't be made, the version is still saved. Use Print, or download the PDF later.

A saved version offers Download PDF (Download color PDF with Color chosen), Print, Download original saved PDF and Download saved HTML. The current report can be printed. The report is black and white unless you choose Color.

What the project report contains#

The example project, opened right after loading, shows:

  • A header with the project name, "Project report · 5 analytes", the laboratory name and the time it was made.
  • The number of studies (18) and how many are signed off (17), then a count of results by outcome, for example Meets criterion 11 · Not evaluated 3 · Does not meet criterion 2 · Undecided 2. The count includes every study with results, signed off or not.
  • 1 Study index: one line per study with analyte, study, type, result and review. Review reads Signed off once a study is signed off.
  • One section per analyte. For each study: who signed it off and when, or when it was calculated; counts; the acceptance table for each level or group; and the study's notes. A note shared by all groups prints once.
  • A Method: limits are decided on unrounded estimates.

After page 1, the header gives the project name and Project report. Footers give the laboratory and project name, generation time and page number.

Study states#

StateWhat the project report shows
Signed offThe latest signed-off report
Signed off · data changed sinceThe signed-off report, with a note that the data changed after sign-off
CalculatedThe results of the latest calculation, dated
Results out of dateThat the data changed after the last calculation
Not calculatedThat the study has no calculation yet

A study without acceptance limits shows "Not evaluated".

When a saved project report is out of date#

A saved project report stays as saved. When a study gets a newer signed-off report, newer data or a newer calculation, a study is added, or the project details change, the page warns that the report is out of date and names the change.

Choose Save project report again for the next version. Earlier versions stay in the selector.
